History: Bolt was born into one of the many tribes that live near and around Fortree City. His tribe is a pack of electric typed Pokemon who use lighting and thunder to their advantage. The tribe symbol is tattooed on all of its members when they are born. It is a read circle which represents unity in blood. The tribe is well-known (at least by the other tribes) and Bolt is the son of two of the higher ups. This of course meant he is expected for greatness. The only trouble is that Bolt hates battling.
The tribes are all rivals and battle frequently for territory, food, water and many other things. You name it; the tribes have probably fought over it. If a Pokemon refuses or can’t battle then they are basically a useless, extra mouth to feed in a tribe. Elders are of course an exception to this rule because they have battled their share of battles. Seeing as Bolt is not an elder, his parents are terrified that when he comes of age (at the age of 18) he will be banished from the tribe for lack of battling ability.

Bolt’s parents had met a traveler who told them stories of a school they had trained at as a youth. This school was called Armonia. They decided that they would send Bolt here to learn morals of why you should battle. To save another, to survive, to prosper, to inspire and to bring hope.

All this being said, Bolt didn’t have a miserable childhood. He learned talents and skills that would keep him alive. He was given magnetic rings that he could use to store electricity if extra was needed. He learned the ways of survival in harsh climates and how to fend for himself (with minimal battling!). He found he had a talent for drawing and draws anything that catches his eye (often colorful bird Pokemon or flowers).
He hopes that he can get over his battling fears, meet a few new friends (if he can conjure up the bravery to say “hello”) and become a brave, solid member of his tribe through Armonia.


Summery Characteristic: Quick to flee

Hobbies: Bolt loves to paint and draw. He loves the way he can capture beauty on a piece of paper and can share it with someone who wasn't there to see it first hand. You will often find a sketchbook and a number of coloured pencils in the red sling he ties around his shoulder.

Bolt will often use Flash to make a quick getaway while the other Pokemon is stunned. Volt Tackle was an egg move and if he must, he uses his high speed to always hit first. Often, Bolt has more than enough electricity stored in his magnet rings and can use Thunderbolt to discharge whatever he doesn't need. Oh yeah... I guess it can be used as an attack too... Magnet Rise was one of his more ingenious ideas. He uses the move and then, thanks to the magnets all over his body, he can float above the ground. Unfortunately, he can't really move around while levitated but he can use Thunderbolt and dodge ground type moves which is handy for an electric type.
